1 Corinthians 1:9
God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

If a question is asked why we were called? The answer can be many. We are called to be holy. We are called to glorify God. We are called to please God in everything. In this verse we can see God has called us into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Paul is writing this to Corinthian Church which had many problems, many weakness, many strengths… He is confident to write this because he knows, the God who called them is faithful. He is the one who will confirm them to the end and present them blameless.
